Historic Mt. Olivet Cemetery hosted its first annual Rosary for Peace on September 11, 2008, at 6 p.m. on the cemetery grounds. The rosary, led by Bishop Michael Quinn, was held in the Garden of the Rosary with its granite tablets depicting each mystery of the rosary. The mysteries are carved in bas-relief on large tablets, creating a dramatic and inspirational focal point for this prayer for peace.

Mt. Olivet Cemetery is located on Van Dyke at Six Mile Road in Detroit. Following the rosary, cider, donuts and coffee were served. For more information on the Rosary for Peace, call (800) 989-5650. Click here for a map.
