Remembrance Tree Lighting and Support for Toys for Tots

Saturday, December 7, 4:00 p.m. (tree lighting at 5:15 p.m.)

All families who want to remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones who have passed, are welcome to join us at Mt. Olivet Cemetery for our Remembrance Tree Lighting.

Prayers, songs, lights, fellowship and friendship will be provided as well as light refreshments in a warming tent. We hope to see you there.

Mt. Olivet will once again be a collection site for Toys for Tots. Collection bins for new, unwrapped toys will be located in the front lobby from November 1 through December 7. 

Toys for Tots Guidelines for Gifts:

• New
• Unwrapped
• Preferably around the $10 or above price range
• Books are also needed
• Homemade toys are also accepted.

Personalized ornaments will be made available through December 2 for $5 each to help memorialize your loved ones at Mt. Olivet. Ornaments may be purchased by mail, at the Tree Lighting Ceremony or in our office at Mt. Olivet during regular business hours (cash or check only). All proceeds will benefit Toys for Tots of Michigan, serving both Wayne and Macomb Counties.
