Where would the QR code be placed?

A QR code memorial would look similar in placement to these photos. Each cemetery has guidelines as to where each code should be placed based on the area/building and type of marker or monument being used.

What does a profile look like after one scans the QR code?

Below is a screenshot of a profile. We invite you to scan (or click) the QR code below to see it live on your phone.

Do I have to pay a fee every year? 

No, there is only the one-time fee for your resting loved one’s QR memorial.  This covers the QR tag, installation, and the forever profile. You are also covered if the tag should ever be damaged or need replacement. There are no fees for visitors to scan the QR code or view the profile online.

Where is my loved one’s profile stored?

Mt. Elliott Cemeteries has partnered with a company called Memory Links to house your loved one’s profile on cloud servers.

Can anyone add content to my loved one’s profile?

Anyone can submit content for a profile, however only designated family members will have the ability to moderate and approve content for inclusion in your loved one’s profile.

Can I make the profile private with a password?

Yes, you can make your loved one’s profile private and provide a password to friends and family members of your choosing.
