Jane Frances Dowe (née Cichon), born 6 January 1924 in Pomorze, Poland, passed away on 27 November 2019 in her home in Fraser, Michigan. Mrs. Dowe was predeceased by her husband, Raymond L. Dowe, and her parents, Michael and Helen Cichon, and her brother, Joseph Cichon. She is survived by her chil-dren Ronald Dowe, Donna Dowe-Davis, and Robert Dowe, and by her grandchildren Cristian Dowe, Jeffery Davis, Katherine Stocking (née Davis), Elizabeth Watt (née Davis), and Steven Davis, as well as by great-grandchildren Sophia and Zoë Dowe, Elliot Stocking, Hannah Watt, and Logan Lane.
As a young child, Jane emigrated with her family from Poland, settling in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. After her marriage, she and her husband lived in Hamtramck, Michigan, before moving to Fraser, Michigan.
In addition to raising a family with her husband, she also worked as an executive secretary in the Fraser Public Schools.
Jane was outgoing, vivacious, caring, and hard working. She was a person of many talents, including being an accomplished seamstress; and she had a life-long love of growing plants and flowers.
Jane will be interred with her husband Raymond in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
