Leon Was born in 1897.The son of Felix and Antoinette (Przybylski) Lukasewski. After serving in the navy during world war I, leon moved to Detroit to work in his uncle Adam’s drug store Przybylski Drugs, and eventually opened his own LS Lukaszewski drugs, which was located at 19001 Van Dyke St. He married Clara Wobrock on September 16, 1925. They had 5 children Leon-Jr.(Jean) Lukaszewski, Beverly (Daniel) Grzywa, Patricia (John) Spraker), Lawrence Lukaszewski, and Darlene (Mike) O’Donnell. He was the owner of Lukaszewski Drugs from 1926- 1956. He died from a heart attack in 1956.
